Wednesday Weekly Update

Ok, so technically I am writing this at 12:02AM Thursday, but I’m closer than I have been!

As I mentioned before I am trying to recreate my build up to my previous best race of the year in May, so, with the race prologue 10 days away, I am in for a big week.  I know this is a little closer than most recommend to get fatigued, but it seemed to work before.  All indications are that things are going very well and I have felt good and put down some record numbers this week so far.  Two more training rides, tomorrow and the day after, and then just a few ‘openers’ until the last race of the season, Steamboat Stage Race.

No racing this weekend so I can be properly rested… Oh yeah, and the minor detail of the birthing class for my son which is due in one month.  It should be an interesting winter and I’ll have a lot more to learn for scheduling (and bargaining).

If I don’t get another call tonight, I should have time to add another ‘climbs’ page that I think you’ll like.

Update: Linden Drive page added.

About Russell

I have been racing bicycles for a decade. This blog will chronicle my efforts as a Category 1 road racer lining up with the pros.
